A non believer who's believer.............
How did you liked the title of this blog... kool na... ya it is, actually I know what you might be thinking. You would be saying that Kaustubh is a confused character and he doesn't know anything. But frankly to tell you this whole world is totally so confusing and full of confused characters, its difficult for me to understand it. Now a days I tend to think that I should stop attempting to understand people. Instead of building up the hype of the situation and the character regarding whom I am talking I directly focus on explaining you what instance occurred in my office yesterday.
As I told you, yesterday as usual I was working in the office carrying on with the routine work I have to do there... I and my group had lunch, still some people in my group were feeling hungry, so they asked me to bring some thing to eat. As usual in my group maximum people were non-vegetarian, so they asked me to bring chicken briyani, and keema. As I am a vegetarian but only by choice not by compulsion, the names of the dishes that my frens wanted me to bring chicken biryani & keema sounded very yucky and without eating it also I had a bad taste in my mouth just by thinking of it. So I told them I will not bring it, instead of that will bring some veg dish to eat.
Actually I don't have any problem with people being non-vegetarian, I sit with them, also I eat with them on the same table when they are eating non-veg dish. But I am always reluctant to touch those dishes. My mom and dad both are vegetarian but they never forced me to be like them, they gave me complete freedom for doing anything even eating a non-veg dish also, but I couldn't motivate myself to try it for once. I have seen how the butcher kills the chicken or the goat and its too horrifying for me to even think of eating the flesh.
Thus we had a little argument in office about being vegetarian and non- vegetarian. Its advantages, disadvantages etc. As usual me being a one man army was facing the fireworks from my opponents who were more in numbers than me. But I was able to stand firmly in the line of fire. The issue went out of proportion and as always we forgot the main topic and concentrated on different topic i.e, about the existence of God.
The character with whom I was having argument came forward with new theory about his own believes.. He said that he believed in the existence of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Lord Mahesh, Lord Ganesha but he didn't believed in existence of Lord Rama. His concept was that Lord Rama never born and the Ramayana is only a fiction. I didn't understood what exactly he wanted to say, so I asked him to explain. He said nobody has ever been able to prove the existence of Lord Rama. Further he said that if we convert the date of birth of Lord Rama i.e. Chaitra shukla navmi it comes out to be 10 Jan 5114BC. Then he asked me how it is possible that the Ramnavmi that we celebrate in month of march and April would come in January...?
For an instance I was also shocked on hearing what he was trying to say, thus I myself tried to convert the date of birth of Shri Rama into the English calender and the result was, he actually was right it came 10 Jan 5114BC. Then were my beliefs and the things that I had been told by my Grandmother were wrong....Actually to tell you my Grandmother never lied. So in my heart I knew that whatever my beliefs are were true, but now it was on me to prove it to that character that Lord Rama existed.. As always a friend in need is a friend in deed,Internet was my best fren to solve this matter, so I searched some data on the net.
I got the justification the fact the Lord Rama existed. In the original Sanskrit Ramayana written by Sage Valmiki, while mentioning about the birth of Lord Ram, Valmiki had mentioned the astronomical details of the precise moment. Valmiki himself was present in the palace of Dasaratha and he mentions it thus in Bala Kanda of Ramayana.
On completion of the ritual six seasons have passed by and then in the twelfth month, on the ninth day of chaitra month when the presiding deity of ruling star of the day is Aditi, where the ruling star of day is punarvasu, the asterism is in the ascendant, and when five of the nine planets viz., Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus are at their highest position, when Jupiter with Moon is ascendant in Cancer, and when day is advancing, then Queen Kausalya gave birth to a son with all the divine attributes like lotus-red eyes, lengthy arms, roseate lips, voice like drumbeat, and who took birth to delight the Ikshwaku dynasty, who is adored by all the worlds, and who is the greatly blessed epitome of Vishnu, namely Rama. [1-18-8, 9, 10, 11].
When this data was entered in the Planetarium software, the day was January 10, 5114 BC. But how could Chaitra Shukla Navami occur in January? We celebrate Ram Navami in March or April. The answer to this was found in an article in Organizer
There is an astronomical phenomenon called ‘precision’ of the sun as also of the equinoxes. According to the latter, the star which is now taken to be the Pole Star (Dhruv Tara), would yield the place to the Star Abhijit (Vega, alpha Lyrae), 14,000 years from now. So when the lunar month of Chaitra occurred seven thousand years ago in the month of January, 7000 years later, it occurs in the month of (generally) April.
Further, Valmiki had mentioned about other planetary configuration. One such was the planetary configuration when King Dashratha decided to make Lord Ram the king of Ayodhya. According to the book, such a planetary configuration was prevailing on January 5, 5089 BC. Lord Ram was then 25 years old and there are indications in the Ramayana that Lord Ram left Ayodhya when he was 25.Actually the date which I am discussing with you is still skeptical one but its just a justification to fact that Lord Rama existed. And he is not a part of our mythology but is the part of our History. Its just that we don't have that developed technolgy to prove his existence. All the dates in Ramayana written by Sage Valmiki mentions the astronomical conditions of the day and to understand it a person has to have the elementary knowledge of astronomy.
When I showed these details with that character as always the human tendency prevailed and he denied those facts and still went on with his set of beliefs further asking me to bring a witness who had seen Lord Rama. I understood that he has arrived on the point where he will not agree to any thing but will go on reiterating what he feels is right. So decided not to go on any further with the argument and to abort it right a way.
But frens you know I always feel that the God is with me and if I am right he always comes to my rescue. This time also the God came out to help me. Today morning when I came to office I saw everybody have taken out their shoes and put them in front of the door before entering into the office. I was amazed with it, I also removed my shoes and went inside. I asked my collegues why they removed the shoes before entering into the office, some people told me that late night our station head received mail from head office which said that today we have to organise THE SATYANARAYAN KATHA in our office.
Everyone in the office were rushing here and there to complete preparations of the Puja. Panditji came and read the Katha, all the office people were listening to it including that character which I mentioned earlier. Then Panditji started chanting bhajans Based on Shri Rama and started reading Shri Ramayana wrote by Goswami Tulsi das.... Now the most important thing was that the person who was playing the instuments in the bhajans of Lord Rama was the the same character who was denying yesterday the fact that Lord Rama existed. Further to tell you that after the Katha completed Panditji asked our station head to do the Aarti and circulate the Aarti to all office people. The character who opposed the existence of Shri Rama was the most eager person in taking the Aarti from the hands of our station head. As the Katha and Aaarti completed, that character distributed Prasad to every one in the office.
How ironic the moment was for me. Just in one night a non believer turned into believer. When we try to prove the birth of Hindu icons, it must be understood that these Hindu icons rarely bothered about birth and death. Through Sanatana Dharma they teach us to rise above birth and death. It believes that life is a continuity. And therefore it scoffs at the debates like ‘No Ram’ and ‘Yes Ram lived.’ By every passing day my belief in God's existence becomes more stronger.
Thank you Lord for again standing for me when I required you the most. You are the reason of my existence and I am only the means through which you take the actions according to your will. The almighty can change all the things in one moment & this incident with me was the best example. You dont have to prove the existence of The God he is there .... May God bless everyone....

All about women.....
as the title of the blog says all about women I am not talking anything about the woman but to tell you its about the play all about the women.....It was the first time in my life that I have watched a drama. Actually I saw one drama when I was 9 years old at yashwant stadium Nagpur. The play was Janta Raja.... it was based on Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj... but that time we got seats on the last row of stadium and I was just busy in crying and showing tantrums to my mom, so i didn't had time to watch that play...but as they say every dog has his day, so i also had my day and got an opportunity to watch this awesome play all about the women.
Actually its difficult to understand woman and after watching that play now I think its impossible to understand woman. To give u a brief summary of the play, well-known light designer and actor, Hidaayat Sami makes his directorial debut with this Miro Gavran play. The play has an unusual structure in which five life stories - all about women - alternate and interweave. One story concerns two sisters who are at loggerheads because of the man they both love - and there is also the question of their mother? The second story is also about two women who are exceptionally close, until their relationship undergoes a crisis when a third woman comes into their lives. Then there is the story of secretaries working for the same firm; about three little girls who go to kindergarten together; and old ladies living in a retirement home.
Out of all the 5 stories I liked the story of two sister who both loved same man. In the end man dumps both of them and had a affair with teenage girl making her pregnant. Actually elder sister has an affair with a boy and they decide to marry each other but one day they have a fight on a stupid reason which leads to there break up. To take revenge with her that boy takes her little sis out on the same day of their break up.When they are out he makes younger sister to drink liquor and on the same night he has a physical relation with her. As she is unconscious she doesn't know what has happened to her and in few days she gets pregnant which forces her to marry that guy exactly weak after the break up that the guy had with elder sister.
This makes elder sister angry and makes her think that it was the younger sister who steal that guy from her and she breaks all the relation with her younger sister. After 7 years on the b'day of their mother the instance comes when these two sister comes face to face. The elder sister cant control her anger and frustration, she takes it out on her sister by abusing her. Then mother tells elder sister that the guy who married younger sister has ditched her a weak ago and is seeing young teenager. Younger sister tells the elder sister the reason why she married that guy. After listening this, older sister feels ashamed of herself and consoles her sister. They sort out all the differences and celebrate the b'day of their mother happily like one family.
The three characters defined where awesome and the actors where fantastic in playing their roles... i loved the story plot a lot...
There was other story plot in the play where they showed how possessive a girl becomes for her girl friend. There was one story plot where they dipicted three secretaries and how low they can fall in their acts and their behaviour just to get promotion. It looked too realistic and we have seen this kind of dipiction in movies like page3 and corporate.
Then there was hillarious story plot about woman in their absolute oldage and other plot was on girls in there childhood. It was fun..
The whole drama was full of ups and downs, with lots of twist and turns. Not for a single second I was able to focus my attention on any thing else than the play. I use to think why people go to watch plays when there is a better option to watch films... but really I again proved myself idiot when I saw the play. I think in Nagpur there is no culture of watching drama but this trend will change as more and more good plays will come out. As always future of theatre is very bright and is in safe hands. I wanted to take autograph of the actors but I was not able to get that. This is the only regret I had yesterday. But to tell you it was the best way of celebrating the end of exams and I enjoyed every moment of it...... Thank you god bringing such beautiful things in my life.... I know you are always there for me....

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication...
There is a famous saying that it is simple to become difficult, but its difficult to become simple, taking this saying further I say its too difficult to understand simplicity. Its a very relative term and thus the thing which is simple for one person cannot be the same for other person. Being simple and sober attracts many people but still now a days people become more materialistic n difficult to understand..
People like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa in today's world people like Sachin Tendulkar are very rare to see. These people attract many people towards their personality without doing anything. They don't have to do many things to reach to the people or to get connected with people. These people are like magnet.
Is simplicity inherent or a person can become simple by practice is the big question...really there are several people who are at times very simple and down to earth in nature, but at times they show different shades in there life... one thing is for sure that nobody is good or bad, everybody has grey shades in their life.
Even god some times shows different shades, just for example if we see lord Rama, he ate fruit which where given to him by a woman named Shabri who belonged to lower caste. This instance gives a very liberal shade to his personality and preaches his followers to never consider anybody lower to you, treat everybody with equality, on the other hand there is another instance in his life when he asks his wife Devi Sita to give Agni Pariksha and further leaves his wife into forest just because someone said somethings about her...how complicated it is, we are able to see different shades in the personality of Lord Rama.
Lord Kirshna also is a great example of simplicity. He had friend circle belonging different classes. He use to play with them, eat with them, enjoy with them which gave an innocent shade to his personality but see he was the person who was able to make a plan of action against Guru Dronacharya. His planning during Kaurav Pandav war was impeccable which show he had a very deep knowlegde of war tactics and the diplomacy. Then he himself coming out with Bhagvad Geeta and explaining it to Arjuna, every thing is very impressive about his personality.
If go on studying these great personalities we find how deep there thinking was but still they were able to connect with the common public. Why these people have such a great importance we cant tell, still there thoughts tend to motivate us and they are able to show us the right direction in crises situations. That's why these people are great but still they are simple.....
